About COCHIN
Who We Are
COCHIN (Coalition of Orphanages in Nigeria) is a national network of orphanages and homes dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable children across Nigeria. We bring together orphanage proprietors, caregivers, and community members from all six geo-political zones of Nigeria, working collectively to provide care, protection, and opportunities for orphans and vulnerable children to thrive.
Founded on the belief that every child deserves a safe and nurturing environment, COCHIN has become a leading voice for child welfare and protection in Nigeria, advocating for the rights of vulnerable children and supporting orphanages with the resources they need to deliver quality care.
COCHIN is a coalition of orphanages in Nigeria which cuts across the six (6) geo-political zones of Nigeria.

What We Do

Skills Empowerment Our vocational training programs, like the Baking Skills Development Course, equip youths with practical skills that promote self-reliance and independence.

Family Reunification & Adoption Whenever possible, we work to reunite children with their families or place them in loving, adoptive homes, ensuring they grow up in stable and caring environments.

Advocacy and Outreach COCHIN advocates for child rights and child protection laws, raising awareness and promoting policies that improve the lives of vulnerable children.
